The David School Trust is a small UK based charity with very low administrative/ running costs, which aims, with its motto Education Changes Lives, to provide education and thus better life opportunities for children in Mile 36, Koya Chiefdom, Sierra Leone.

 Charitable Objectives

For the benefit of the public in Koya District in Sierra Leone and the surrounding area by:

A The advancement of Education

B The relief of poverty and the promotion and protection of good health

C Providing or assisting in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity, or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The charity raises funds from the public but does not work with professional fundraisers or commercial participators.

No Trustees receive any remuneration, payments of benefits from the charity.
